We’re Not Hiring Employees. We’re Building a Creative Network.

The world of work has changed. Quietly at first. Then all at once.

The most talented people we know aren’t chasing job titles anymore. They’re building portfolio careers. Choosing flexibility, optimizing for meaningful work, not permanent business. And increasingly, they’re doing their best work independently.

We’ve been paying close attention. Which is why we want to share something important: we are not building a traditional company, we are building a creative network of ambitious professionals. It’s a deliberate choice about how we believe great work should happen.

What’s changing

Until now, we’ve operated like many organisations: a core team on payroll, supported by external collaborators when needed. Going forward, we’re shifting to a networked organisation — a group of trusted, independent freelancers and specialists who come together around projects, not job descriptions.

Instead of fixed roles, we’re building flexible teams. Instead of hierarchy, we’re designing collaborations. Instead of “employees” and “contractors,” we’re thinking in terms of partners. With this change, we support our ambition to grow and support the best services possible for our clients.

Why we’re doing this

This decision comes from a simple belief: the best work today is done in networks, not organizational charts.

  1. Because the best people want different things

Some want flexibility, some want autonomy. Some want to work intensely for a period, then step back. Some want to live nowhere near a head office.

Trying to force all of that into one employment model doesn’t make sense anymore. Talent doesn’t look one way — and neither should collaboration.

  1. Because great work needs the right people, not the same people

Not every project needs the same skill set. Not every challenge needs the same team. A network allows us to bring together specialists who are perfect for the problem at hand — developers, architects, project managers — without asking anyone to become something they’re not. Projects should shape teams. Not the other way around.

  1. Because freelancers aren’t “resources”

Too often, freelancers are treated as interchangeable, temporary, or peripheral. That’s not how we see it.

We see independent professionals as some of the most intentional, skilled, and self-aware people in the industry. People who have chosen this way of working. People who care deeply about their craft. We want to work with freelancers, not “use” them.

What this means for freelancers

If you work independently, here’s what this model is designed to offer you:

  • Flexibility without isolation
You stay independent, but you’re part of a trusted ecosystem — not constantly starting from zero.
  • Respect for your expertise
You’re brought in for what you’re good at, not expected to wear five unrelated hats.
  • Clear communication and expectations
We value reliability, clarity, and mutual trust. Always.
  • Ongoing relationships, not one-offs
This isn’t a gig marketplace. It’s a network we want to grow with over time.
  • Higher rates/ returns
We take on the assignments as a company, allowing for higher rates for you.
  • Developer Program
We can support you in your development.
  • Knowledge Sharing
Regular knowledge sharing sessions with the full network.
  • Focus on creating value for our customers, not sales activities
Most freelancers hate doing sales. Leave that to us.

How our creative network works

At a high level:

  • We curate a group of freelancers and specialists whose values and standards align with ours.
  • Projects are staffed intentionally, based on fit — not availability alone.
  • Collaboration is transparent, human, and respectful of everyone’s time.
  • We prioritise long-term relationships over transactional work.
  • It brings value for all involved: the customer, you and us.

You won’t be “on call”. You won’t be micromanaged. And you won’t be treated like an external afterthought.

Who we’re hoping to meet

This model isn’t for everyone — and that’s okay. We’re especially excited to connect with freelancers who:

  • Care deeply about quality and craft.
  • Are comfortable taking ownership.
  • Communicate clearly and honestly.
  • Enjoy collaborating with other strong independents.
  • Have proven experience in implementing Pigment, Anaplan, Jedox or Board.

If you’re looking for a rigid structure, constant direction, or a traditional career ladder, this probably isn’t the right fit. But if you enjoy autonomy and collaboration — this might feel like home.

An open invitation

We’re not “hiring”. We’re starting conversations. If this way of working resonates with you — if you’re curious about being part of a creative network built on trust, flexibility, and great work — we’d love to hear from you.

Send us your CV, introduce yourself and tell us what you love doing best. Let’s see if there’s a future we can build together. Because the future of work doesn’t look like employment vs freelance. It looks like networks of people choosing to do their best work together.

Please send us your CV to jan.veerman@planadigm.com if you interested to join our network. We will get back to you to discuss the next steps.
